El Segundo Little League Board of Directors Bios 2025-2026
Sarah Barlup:
Having served on the board for three years as Treasurer, I hope to continue to contribute to the
board and to our ESLL community for the 25-26 season.
My family and I have been residents of El Segundo for nine years and our boys have been involved
in ESLL since my oldest son’s rookie season in 2016. Our oldest, Joey, continues his baseball journey in
Babe Ruth, while Charlie finished his first season in Majors and is looking forward to his final season in
Little League. Anyone who is friends with me, or has been on a team with me, knows my passion for this
baseball community. My husband, Matt, has either been a manager or assistant coach every season
since the boys started, and I have been a Team Parent for several of my sons’
teams.
I am a Managing Director at a large asset manager, Nuveen, and Co-Head our Global
Consultant Relations team. My entire 20+ year career has been in the asset management industry,
and I have prior experience being a Treasurer for a 501(c)(3) I founded with three peers in 2014,
Women in Institutional Investments Network (WIIIN).
Summer Bloom:
My 10-year-old son just wrapped up his AAA season and, simply put, he lives for baseball. Rec Park has
become our second home—we spend countless hours at the fields watching games, supporting friends,
and soaking in everything that makes El Segundo Little League so special.
Professionally, I serve as the Sports Medicine Program Manager at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. I’ve
worked in sports medicine for nearly two decades, across youth, high school, collegiate, and
professional levels. My experience includes managing athletic training programs, leading community
outreach, coordinating events, and overseeing sponsorships. I also have a background as an Athletic
Director, where I hired and supported coaches, ran game operations, and built sports programs from the
ground up.
I would be honored to serve on the ESLL Board and give back to the league that has brought so much
joy, connection, and growth to our lives. I bring a unique blend of professional expertise, event and
sponsorship experience, and a deeply rooted commitment to youth sports and community engagement.
Nate Campos:
I have called El Segundo my home since 2009. My wife and I have been together for 15 years (married
for 8) We have two boys aged 7 and 5 (Tee Ball and AA) The El Segundo community has continued to
impress us. Our schools, businesses and neighbors continue to step up and do what they can for the
future of this town. I feel it’s my time to do the same. I have served as the President of our Home
Owners Association Board of Directors for the last 8 years and This will be my 2nd year on the ESLL
Board of Directors.
Growing up in Arizona, my parents had us playing sports year-round. The impact sports had on me has
stayed with me my entire life. The power of positive and motivating coaches is up there with a kid’s
parents and teachers. Last year, I was lucky enough to coach my son Carter and his teammates on the
Royals Single A team. We motivated these kids to not only put effort on the field but also off the field.
To cheer for our teammates and to never tease our opponents. And win or lose, you always shake the
opponent's hand respectfully. With the help of 3 other amazing coaches, we were nominated for the
Nate Chittick Phenomenal Coach award. That nomination has motivated me to not only continue
coaching these amazing kids but to also submit myself for the Board's consideration. In 2025 we made it
to the AA Championship game and my coaches and I received our 2nd Phenomenal Coach of the
year nomination. Now is the time to step up and do whatever I can to make this community even better
than it is now.
Shannon Crouch:
I have had the pleasure to serve on the board for the last two years as Uniform Coordinator and most
recently as Player Agent.
Our family has lived in El Segundo for 14 years and participated in Little League since our eldest's first
year as a Rookie in 2017. He played from Rookie through to Majors and it was such a rewarding and fun
experience. This coming season we will have a son in Majors and our youngest will be in AA. We
absolutely love this game! My husband has coached our sons in A, AA and AAA and you can usually find
our family hanging out at Brett and cheering our fellow El Segundo ballplayers on. We’re looking
forward to a great season!
I hope to continue to work on the Board to provide a fun and enriching experience for all players.
Matt Drottz:
I have served on the ESLL Board since 2022 in various roles and look forward to supporting the league
one final year as my only child ages out of the league in spring 2026. I have enjoyed the friendships
made with other board members and making a positive difference within the league and our
community. I have been a resident of El Segundo and an active member in its little league program since
2017.
Mike Edwards:
This will be my fifth year as a board member of ESLL. I grew up in El Segundo and played little league
from Tee Ball to Majors. I have great memories of playing the sport that has always had a huge impact in
this town.
My oldest son is participating in his seventh season with ESLL. Every year I have been an
assistant coach with his teams. We are creating more little league memories together and
are making many new friends. I have enjoyed my time as a board member and would like the
opportunity to give back to the community that has provided so much for my family and I.
Andrea Ennis:
I am a baseball mom through and through. I have 2 sons, Tommy & Camden, who both played their first
years in Majors & AAA this past season. They both started in their rookie year, and I have been at every
game since. I have been a team parent almost every season, and have also taken up the role of
GameChanger as well. We have been permit kids for many years but most recently bought a house in
2023 in El Segundo, as we wanted to be a true part of the community. Although I have no coaching or
baseball background, I put my all into any volunteer opportunity I take on. I love the community that
ESLL has brought to our boys and our family, and am so thankful for the friends we have made because
of baseball. I served on the board this past year as the uniform chair, and would love to continue to be a
part of the 2025-2026 ESLL board.
Jamin Griffiths: It has been a privilege to serve on the ESLL board since 2019 and before that as a
volunteer with the league since 2015. I served two years as President (2022-2024), and have also been
the Single A VP, and the Field & Equipment Director. I have one son who aged out of ESLL in 2022 and
my youngest is currently plays in the Majors division. ESLL is an important part of our community, and I
look forward to the opportunity to return to the board and continue to contribute to the league’s
mission.
Brad Grossman:
Since moving to El Segundo in 2019, I’ve had the joy of watching my three kids grow and thrive in ESLL,
playing at the AAA, AA, and T-Ball levels. Over the years, I’ve embraced various roles—including AA
manager, assistant coach, and scorekeeper—experiencing firsthand the incredible dedication of our
volunteers and the positive impact they have on our young players.
Being part of ESLL and the larger community has been truly rewarding, and I’m excited to deepen my
involvement by serving on the Board. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of our
league and helping shape the experience for the next generation of players.
Ted Hart:
I am excited to be seeking my second year term on the ESLL Board of Directors. My wife Katie and I have
been blessed with four wonderful children and the ability to call El Segundo our home for the past
eleven years. Our involvement in El Segundo Little League has been a significant part of our family’s life.
Our oldest son, Jack, just finished his last season of AAA, where he has learned the value of teamwork,
perseverance, and sportsmanship. I’m grateful to have been part of Jack’s ESLL journey as an assistant
coach for the past 5 years. Our youngest son, Declan, just finished his first season of Rookie Ball with the
mighty Cannon Ballers where I served as the team’s head coach. As a member of the Board I commit to
bringing my love of baseball, my organizational skills, and a dedication to ensure that El Segundo Little
League continues to thrive and provide exceptional experiences for all of our children just as it has for
our family. Thank you for considering my candidacy.
Adam Huie:
I am excited to be returning for my seventh year on the board. My utmost priority is to ensure that
every child has a fantastic, fair, and unforgettable experience playing baseball. It is essential to me
that we create an inclusive environment where all kids, regardless of their batting average, feel
valued and supported.
Greg Maechling:
I am seeking my fifth year on the ESLL Board of Directors. I have previously served as the VP of Majors
and AAA divisions and am currently the Fields & Facilities Director. From El Segundo, I have one son in
ESLL and another who plays for ESHS. Playing here while growing up had a significant impact on my life. I
look forward to the possibility of continuing to serve our community through this wonderful program.
Ray Marsden:
I am the father of a son in A and a son in AAA. I have been an assistant coach for 9 ESLL teams from
Rookie all the way to AAA. I also started the Rookie Ball Summer program and inaugural Rookie Ball Fall
program. I am a high school PE Teacher and Football Coach and really want to stay involved with ESLL
and share my knowledge of working with kids and parents and creating a positive experience for
everybody. This past season I served on the Board as the Majors VP. Last year I served as AA VP and the
year before that I was the team parent coordinator. This Summer I will be the manager of the 10U All
Star team. I look forward to a 4th year on the Board if chosen.
Todd McAndrews:
I’m Todd McAndrews, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve as a board member for ESLL. My
son Ketch McAndrews is a AAA player and coaching his teams has been an incredible experience. I grew
up playing baseball in El Segundo playing Little League, Babe Ruth, El Segundo High School and beyond.
The opportunity to join the board and help continue the tradition of this amazing baseball community
and league would be extremely rewarding for me. I work locally in El Segundo at Chevron and love to
give back to the community in any way I can. I look forward to joining a board of great people and
helping promote El Segundo Little League.
Jimmy Muir:
I’m hopeful for the opportunity to serve on the ESLL Board for a second term. My family and I moved to
El Segundo over three years ago, and our ESLL experience has been a primary contributor to our love for
this community.
My sons and daughter played AAA, AA, and Tee-Ball (respectively) this past spring season, and I've been
an assistant coach throughout the last three years. We're beyond thankful for the strong friendships
we've made, and for the positive influence of coaches and teammates.
I believe wholeheartedly that our role as coaches, volunteers, and board members is first and foremost
to create an environment where our kids can grow and mature socially, emotionally, and physically.
Little league baseball offers our young boys and girls the opportunity to fall in love with sports, to
understand the responsibilities of being a teammate, to learn to become coachable, to value giving their
best effort, and to internalize and appreciate the lessons of victory and defeat.
I want to continue to serve on the Board to help ensure that these foundational tenets always remain at
the core of our ESLL mission, and to advocate for placing equal importance for our players' development
at the Tee-Ball, Rookie, A, AA, AAA, and Majors divisions.
Jordan Peterson:
As a former teacher and parent of two at CSS, I've found myself becoming a very passionate volunteer,
or "professional volunteer"; rather. Over the past few years, I've served on the CSS PTA Executive
Board, PTA Council, Kiwanis, along with being room parent and team parent over and over. While
hospitality needs tend to call my name, I also enjoy the coordinating and scheduling tasks.
El Segundo is such a special place and I've loved helping with the schools and being involved, but since
baseball is such a root of this town, being on the board would be an honor. My son just finished his
fourth year in ESLL on the AA Expos, and we are very grateful to the board and everyone else who
makes baseball in El Segundo what it is.
Mark Pilla:
I have served on the board since 2023. During my first year, I served as Director of Sponsorship, raising
over $30K in additional funding to the league through various community efforts. In 2024, I was the VP
of AA where I was able to amend rules to drive better participation and teaching efforts to enhance the
experience.
I have been coaching in ESLL for the past 4 seasons in A, AA , AAA. Being a coach has provided me with
the ability to teach the core fundamentals of the game while providing mentorship on how the game
and its challenges relates to being a good teammate, student, and all-around good kid. I have both
played and umpired baseball at a high level and with my personal and El Segundo’s love for the game it
would be an honor making it a better experience for all kids involved in the program.
I currently work as a finance executive for the Los Angeles Angels. With my involvement in MLB and
love for the game of baseball, I believe I could provide added resources based on my industry
knowledge.
Chia-Ming Ro:
Professionally, I’m a former finance executive who leveraged social media to build Coastal
Homestead—a garden design and media business focused on education, sustainability, and storytelling.
Across all platforms, I built an audience of 168k and worked with many notable brands for sponsored
content and projects. I bring a strong background in communication, organization, and content
creation, which I believe are key to keeping league families informed, connected, and engaged.
As a resident since 2019, I presented to the El Segundo City Council on environmental initiatives and
now also serve on the ESUSD Environmental Committee as well as acting District Liaison to the City
Environmental Committee. I launched the Buddy Gardening Program at the elementary level for RSS and
CSS where we teach students about gardening to build community and spark creativity.
My husband, Patrick Ro, coached and managed our sons’ Little League teams over the past seven years.
We’ve loved every season as a family and have collected so many wonderful friends along the way. Our
older son, Evan Ro, just wrapped up his LL journey on the ESLL Majors Red Sox, and our younger son,
Griffin Ro, played on the AAA Reds and is a newly minted 10U All Star.
I’m excited for the opportunity to give back to the league that has given our family so much.
Ish Salcedo:
My family has been part of the El Segundo community for over 16 years, and it has truly become home
for us. Serving on the board for the 2023 season—and having a full season under my belt as League
President—has been one of the most meaningful and impactful experiences I've had. Leading the team
this past year gave me a deeper appreciation for the dedication it takes to run a successful season, and
an even stronger commitment to our league's mission.
I’ve had the joy of assisting with coaching my son since his Rookie year. As he heads into his final season
in Majors, I’ve witnessed not only his growth in skill but also his confidence and his love for the game
deepen with each year.
Volunteering with our local youth programs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I do my best to make a
positive impact wherever I can.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Jon Warren:
I am seeking my second year on the Little League Board. As an El Segundo Little League, Babe Ruth, and
ESHS Baseball alumni I have been extremely grateful for the opportunity to now be a part of the ESLL
board and help the next generation get the same great experience that I did. I have coached my son
Blake from Tee Ball through AAA and enjoy helping kids grow in the game while promoting a positive
and fun atmosphere. While my passion may be on the field, I know how important it is that we have
strong and committed individuals behind the scene ensuring the on-field experience we all know and
love.
I live in El Segundo with my wife Tara and our three children. My office is also located in El Segundo, and
Onyx Capital Corporation has been a ESLL sponsor each year that I have been involved. I have a deep
passion for this town, and especially its baseball program. I’m hopeful I will be granted the ability to
continue on the board of such an incredible league
