Hello ESLL families!

In preparation for the Spring baseball season, El Segundo Little League hosts Player Evaluations for our Majors/AAA/AA players every December. Our Challenger division and our younger divisions (Single A/ T Ball / Rookie) do not require player evaluations.

Evaluations are NOT "try-outs". Player evaluations take place to facilitate fair placement across teams and divisions.

Please mark your calendars for 2026 player evaluations at Walton Field on Saturday December 13 OR Sunday December 14th during your player's assigned evaluation time.

8:30 - 9:30 A - E

9:30 - 10:30 F - M

10:30 - 11:30 N - Z

AAA - December 13th PM

12:00 - 1:00 A - D

1:00 - 2:00 E - H

2:00 - 3:00 I - P

3:00 - 4:00 Q - Z

AA - December 14th

8:30 - 9:30 A- C

9:30 - 10:30 D- G

10:30 - 11:30 H - K

12:00 - 1:00 L - R

1:00 - 2:00 S - Z

The 2026 Coaches will be assessing your player's skills in fielding, pitching, and hitting. Approximately, each player will have the opportunity to:

• catch three pop flies
• field three grounders at short stop
• throw three pitches
• and hit three balls

League Notes and Expectations:

• Arrive 30 min early to check in
• Warm up independently before assigned evaluation time
• In order to remain on schedule and avoid delays, please attend at your assigned time
• Bring a bat, glove and helmet
• Cleats recommended
